Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") constitute a legally binding contract between you ("Customer", "you") and HiddenMentor.ai ("Company", "we", "us"). By using our AI interview coaching app, resume matching tools, or synchronizing Session IDs, you agree to comply with these parameters.

1. Acceptance of Terms & Eligibility

By creating an account, paying for credits or a subscription, or downloading our desktop client, you agree to be bound by these Terms. HiddenMentor.ai provides access to AI-powered real-time audio analysis clients and web-based interview preparation tools (the "Service"). We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time; continued use constitutes acceptance of any changes.

Age Restrictions: You must be at least 18 years of age, or the age of legal majority in your jurisdiction, to create an account and use the Service. By using the Service, you represent and warrant that you meet this requirement and have the capacity to form a binding contract.

2. User Accounts & Security

You must provide accurate, current information during registration. You are solely responsible for safeguarding your account credentials. You agree NOT to share your account access, session codes, or license keys with any third party. Any unauthorized sharing or credential abuse will result in immediate termination of your account without refund.

3. Acceptable Use & Fair Use Policy

You explicitly agree NOT to:

  • Reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble the desktop helper client binaries.
  • Circumvent rate limit allocations or execute automated scripts/scrapers against public API portals.
  • Use the Service for any illegal activities or to facilitate academic dishonesty or unauthorized corporate espionage.
  • Distribute, resell, or lease access to the Service or any of its outputs to third parties.

Fair Use Policy: Our platform applies technical limits to prevent abuse (e.g., a daily token limit). Excessive usage that burdens our system infrastructure or bypasses these technical limits via automation is a violation of these Terms and may lead to immediate throttling or permanent account suspension.

4. Intellectual Property

HiddenMentor.ai retains all intellectual property rights to the Service, including the desktop client software, underlying AI prompt architectures, and the web platform. You retain all ownership rights to the personal data and resumes you upload. However, you grant us a temporary license to process this data solely for the purpose of generating your interview coaching responses.

5. Billing, Refunds, & Stripe Disputes

Our payment pipelines process parameters securely through integrated merchant frameworks (Stripe). Access to paid tiers, including credit purchases and subscriptions, is granted instantly upon payment confirmation.

Critical Refund Warning: Because HiddenMentor provides immediate digital token allocations, server infrastructure, and software downloads, ALL TRANSACTIONS ARE STRICTLY FINAL AND NON-REFUNDABLE. There are no cancellation refunds, partial prorations, or retroactive credits once checkout is completed.
Payment Dispute Policy: Any unauthorized chargebacks or payment disputes filed through Stripe or your issuing bank without prior communication with our support team will be considered fraudulent. Filing a dispute will result in immediate, permanent account suspension, and we reserve the right to forward the dispute details to collections agencies or legal counsel.

6. AI Output Disclaimer & Third-Party Dependencies

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT REPRESENTATION OF ANY COMPREHENSIVE WARRANTY. We do not guarantee that using our platform will result in active employment, passing grades, or certified contract offers. AI-generated advice may contain inaccuracies ("hallucinations") and should be independently verified. TO THE MAXIMUM SCOPE ALLOWABLE, HIDDENMENTOR SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR DIRECT OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES ARISING FROM TECHNICAL LATENCY, LOST OPPORTUNITIES, OR RELIANCE ON AI OUTPUTS.

Third-Party Dependencies: The Service relies on APIs provided by third-party large language models (such as OpenAI, Anthropic, and DeepSeek). We are not responsible or liable for any downtime, API changes, data processing delays, or service interruptions caused by these external providers.

7. Indemnification, Service Modifications & Termination

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless HiddenMentor.ai from any claims, losses, or damages arising out of your misuse of the Service or violation of these Terms. We reserve the right to terminate or suspend your account at any time, without prior notice or liability, for conduct that we determine, in our sole discretion, violates these Terms or is harmful to other users, us, or third parties.

Modifications to the Service: We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue, temporarily or permanently, the Service or any of its features at any time without notice or liability.

8. Governing Law & Arbitration Resolutions

All emerging claim disputes will be settled via binding, individual arbitration parameters. You explicitly waive your right to participate in any class action lawsuit or class-wide arbitration against HiddenMentor.ai.
